Course Cancellations

In the event the University of Florida Department of Occupational Therapy cancels a continuing education course (i.e., removes it from the website), the currently active participants will be notified of the cancellation date via email and informed that they have six months to complete the course for continuing education credit.

Resolution of Complaints

All complaints about the online continuing education program should be sent in writing to Emily Pugh, Director of Distance Learning Programs.

A written response will be sent within 10 working days of receipt. Every effort will be made to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Refunds

Refunds will be issued only if the participant:

  1. has not completed the course and
  2. requests the refund in writing within three days of gaining access to the online course.

All requests for refunds should be sent in writing to Emily Pugh, Director of Distance Learning Programs.

In the event the participant chooses to use regular mail, the envelope must be postmarked within three (3) days of gaining access, as stated above.

The participant will receive a refund of the price paid for the course minus a five dollar ($5.00 USD) administrative fee.
